Personalized tutoring (K - 12)
One-on-one and small-group tutoring in math, science, reading, and more. Volunteers use culturally aware teaching methods, meeting students at their level and building confidence through engaging practice.
Goal: students not only pass their classes - but feel proud of what they can do.
Mentorship program
Students are paired with trained mentors - often Indigenous professionals or university students - for academic guidance and life skills. Mentors support goal setting, study habits, and career exploration, creating a sense of belonging and motivation.
Think of it like having an older sibling who’s “been there” and can guide you.
College & career workshops
Workshops and 1:1 support for post-secondary planning: applications, essays, deadlines, financial aid, scholarships, and bursaries. We bring in guest speakers, including Indigenous students and graduates, to share real experiences.
We help take the stress out of a process that can feel overwhelming.
Resource library
We maintain an online directory of educational resources and opportunities, including Indigenous scholarship programs, community tutoring centers, mental health supports, and partner services. If we don’t offer what a student needs, we help them find someone who does.

Visit websiteCommunity outreach & cultural programming
We collaborate with Indigenous elders, knowledge-keepers, and community organizations to incorporate cultures and languages. Examples include “Culture & Science” camps (coding in the morning, traditional crafts or storytelling in the afternoon), or tutors who speak Indigenous languages.
By valuing students’ heritage, we help students take pride in who they are.
Support that adapts to each learner
We tailor support to match each student’s needs and strengths - academically and culturally.
Flexible scheduling
We try to work around school, family responsibilities, and community commitments.
Inclusive approach
We’re open to helping anyone who could benefit while prioritizing underserved communities.
Evidence-informed
We use approaches shown to improve learning, confidence, and engagement.
